Barbie chose to leave ‘Barbie Utopia’ to enter the ‘Real World’
and one of the first things she did was excitedly get a vagina.
A vagina has always been a net-benefit, albeit it a noose too.
Women in the modern world do not feel oppressed per se.
Conflicted perhaps.
They want to have their cake and eat it too.
They want to do whatever they feel like and
that’s not how the real world ultimately works
and it’s driving them nuts.
Perhaps the economy/society forced that on them
(cue theory on feminism being cooked up by the elites to serve their larger agenda)?
Either way, the more freedom they get, the more responsibilities they must take on.
Women today are more stressed out than ever. Being a whoa-man in a man’s world.
They’re experiencing depression / mental health issues at much higher rates.
The more choices they have, the harder it is becoming for them to make a decision.
(to be fair the “paradox of choice” is making us all more miserable).
Increasingly they want the benefits of having a man in their life / a relationship without committing fully — maintaining certain advantages while avoiding certain responsibilities.
A desire for attention, affection, or emotional support while avoiding commitment or exclusivity.
Feminism in many ways was a bad deal for women (depending on what sort of deal they ultimately want).
